Disclosing Your Disability as a Medical Trainee

This month, a panel of guest speakers will answer your questions about disclosure of disability status as a medical trainee. The panel will be moderated by Dr. Steven Gay, MD, and will consist primarily of medical students and residents (including seasoned participants from our mentorship program!).

Dr. Gay is the Interim Associate Dean for Medical Student Education at the University of Michigan Medical School. He also serves on the admissions committee, where he has worked to improve the inclusion and recruitment of disabled students. Dr. Gay is also the co-author of a chapter in Disability as Diversity on Technical Standards.
