Role

Mami reviews applications from potential members, moderates the Discord and LinkedIn communities, and supports the executive team during monthly virtual meetings.

Motivation

Since joining DM3P in April 2022, Mami has found invaluable support in navigating her medical career. To give others the same guidance and encouragement that DM3P has provided her, she became part of the internal communications team in 2023.

Relevant Experience

Mami served on the autism panel at the 4th Stanford Conference on Disability in Healthcare and Medicine. She also led a collaborative working group with DM3P, SMADIE, and MSDCI to address the NIH mission statement.

Fun Fact

Every night, Mami trains her pet rats (Spleen & Algernon) to do tricks. She also enjoys rock climbing and scuba diving.
