How I disclosed in medicine

Meeting Description:

It was on Wednesday, February 21st from 5:00–6:30 PM PST, for the monthly virtual Disability in Medicine Mutual Mentorship Program Meeting. The speaker discussed her journey to becoming a social media influencer and how she chose to disclose both publicly online and in her applications to residency.  This led to a broader discussion of disclosure and members  discussed and practiced disclosure in small groups.  Each group practiced or discussed disclosure in a different context – interviews, coworkers, supervisors and patients/clients.
